Included Air Plant and Striped Urchin Shell.
Striped urchin shells are real dried sea urchins. Their stripe patterns and color make each shell unique and interesting. Often these shells are used to make crafts and decor pieces. The striped sea urchin shell is a great display piece for air plants. Their small size allows for many display options. The shell can be placed on a window sill or hung from a fishing line upside down.
Air plants (Tillandsia) are low maintenance plants that do not require soil. Air plants require low to bright light making them easy and suitable houseplants. Be sure to avoid long periods of no light and direct sunlight. Despite their name, air plants need more than air to thrive. Like all plants, they will need water. Misting 2-3 times per week or submerging in water for 20 minutes once a week will do the trick. Be sure to shake the air plant after watering in order to prevent the water from settling into the crevices.
The air plant in the hanging urchin shell can be displayed in numerous ways and makes for an interesting addition to any house plant collection.
