Air Plant Ornament Gift Box

I bought this for an ornament exchange and was excited about it. When it arrived, the actual air plant had dry tips and was paltry compared to the image on the website. It did come with some pebbles, but the photo shows some reddish-colored moss. I would have preferred to receive that instead of the small white pebbles since it's more of a Christmas vibe. I also received a gold ribbon that was way too short to really tie it in a way so that one could hang it on the tree. It wouldn't hurt to add a few more inches of ribbon or let alone, attach the red ribbon as shown so that I didn't have to assemble the ornament. Now, I'm stuck finding something festive to add to it in lieu of the white pebbles and buy some ribbon and assemble it. I could have actually gone to my local nursery and purchased a size-appropriate air plant and an ornament to put in myself at a lower cost given that I have to buy my own ribbon and moss. Just pretty disappointed overall.
